HTML-to-WordPress Conversion

RiverWalk Family Dental had an existing static HTML website that needed to be rebuilt within the agency’s WordPress environment. My responsibility was not to redesign the brand from scratch, but to preserve the recognizable structure and presentation while translating the site into WPBakery and the agency’s custom theme.

The migration involved a large set of internal pages, different structural assumptions between the original HTML and the WordPress theme, and content that could not always be reused because of restrictions from the previous agency. I also needed to distinguish between intentional elements of the existing design and inconsistencies that could be improved without expanding the project into an unauthorized redesign.

I reconstructed the homepage and internal pages in WPBakery, including navigation, service sections, doctor cards, forms, badges, calls to action, and footer content. I replaced restricted copy where necessary, standardized repeated page structures, adapted layouts for mobile, and corrected visible issues discovered during content migration and responsive QA.

The completed site preserved the identity and content structure of the original HTML build while moving it into an editable WordPress workflow. Targeted changes improved spacing, cohesion, responsive behavior, and consistency without misrepresenting the work as a full redesign. Side-by-side captures show that the migrated version was cleaner while remaining recognizably RiverWalk.
